First off, I liked Hack RUN a lot. Hack Zero...

Did I play it to the end? Yes. Did I enjoy it? Eh. The story itself isnt horrible, but the details were immature and lacked effort. A few of the puzzles were ridiculous, if the devs thought that someone could figure it out without looking at at least the hints, theyre nuts. And not because theyre challenging, theyre just nonsensical. I cant believe Im about to say this, but this game could have some focus grouping. It just came across like they didnt really take themselves out of the process, which I can forgive, but the attempts at humor were in the wrong places and just took away from what little suspension of disbelief I had. The idea is great. The interface is innovative and smart. To sum up: I found my self rolling my eyes a lot, but I did just buy the third in the hopes that they learned from this one.
